We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to fill the role of Head of Global Seed Production & Logistics - Cereals (m/f/d) for one of our customers – a renowned international seed production organization.

You will shape the future of production and logistics operations for the business unit cereals and coordinate the activities related to the timely provision of the best hybrid and non-hybrid cereals seed to the customers.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Your new place of work is either in Germany (Bergen/Einbeck, Niedersachsen) or France or Poland at the other processing sites of the company.

Your Role – driving future innovations:
• You anticipate long-term production capacity requirements for cereals and ensure their availability through corresponding investment planning and implementation
• Plan, continuously monitor and optimize the production organization, processes and systems to maximize long-term efficiency
• Develop and lead a team of direct reports across several locations that is collectively responsible for the seed production of relevant Business Unit Cereals crops
• Aggregate global seed demand from national sales planning and plan the global production of all relevant crops
• Implement processes to ensure the adherence to quality standards company group standards and health and safety requirements
Your Expertise – the difference you make:
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business administration, production, lor related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Long-time experience in industrial production and logistics, preferably seed production, processing and logistics
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate long-term capacity requirements and optimize processes
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive cost optimization initiatives
• Excellent communication, intercultural and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
• Excellent command of English. Additional language skills, preferably German but also French and/or Polish, are an asset
